Dr, Andersen is very professional and very nice, He always remembers me and my family.
I just think he needs to stop looking at his watch, trying to stay within the short little window and provide the time necessary to really listen about someone’s health concerns. If he’s ordering bloodwork anyway, why would he not just have me provide the urine for a urinalysis when I tell him I think I have a UTI? His response to my request was that I do not have a UTI because I would’ve brought it up right away. I believe that he did not want to pause one second longer to discuss it just have me prove a urine sample. He literally dismissed my concerns about the blood work being done on a full stomach and also told me I don’t think that’s necessary regarding the urine test. I told him my urine was a very dark color and he said drink more water. I drink around 90 oz per day. I should not have had to go to Walgreens to pay money for a urine test kit after I just went to the doctor..very disappointed with this visit and now I want to go to a different doctor. It’s great to be efficient with your time, but it should not come at the expense of your patient.

The best Doctor I have ever had
It was fine except I had to return for the other blood test because it was not done only one blood test for thyroid was done, not the one for blood sugar. I did go back and just to lab to get the other done so this was resolved. I was relieved to have my results ultimately for both of the lab work done.

I always prepare what I’m going to ask about before my visits. I feel like, in a nic way, I’m only supposed to ask about one thing per visit. I understand the financial side of the medical business from the provider standpoint, but when I have aches and pains that seem in are related, or I have a concern that I want to address, I feel like I need to make a separate appointment each time I have a question in That makes me a little bit uncomfortable. I know Dr. Andersen is just trying to follow the rules and regulations of the clinic while at the same time being a doctor that I can be fully confident in as far as taking care of me. He’s always been a great job in the past and I would hate to see any company policy begin to interfere with that.
