Wednesday, May 2, 2018

Mercy Health Network (MHN) and the Guttenberg Municipal Hospital and Clinics Board of Trustees is pleased to announce the appointment of Kelly Dybvig as the new CEO of Guttenberg Municipal Hospital and Clinics (GMHC).  The board and MHN underwent a comprehensive interview and selection process over the past months and are excited to announce Kelly’s promotion from the interim CEO role.  Kelly has spent most of her career in healthcare, most recently focused on hospital clinic operations and organizational development. When asked about her new, permanent,  role at GMHC Kelly said, “I’m excited to continue this journey of working alongside the team at GMHC and serve in the CEO role.  The support of the team has been overwhelming and I am excited to see what the future holds for all of us, together.”  Board Chair, Karen Merrick stated, “Kelly’s background has provided her with the understanding of the many difficulties rural hospitals face and she has worked in the trenches to find solutions to these problems. However, in my eyes, Kelly’s greatest asset is her understanding of the need to come together to address obstacles and to take advantage of opportunities. Collaboration may just be one of those keys we need to secure our healthcare future.”

Mike Trachta, Vice President of Critical Access Hospital Operations for MHN states, “While I am a little disappointed to lose Kelly on my team at MHN, I have been so impressed with Kelly’s work as the interim CEO at GMHC and am thrilled that she has been selected as their CEO.  Her knowledge of clinic and hospital operations, coupled with her skill set in building relationships and leading positive culture change make her a huge asset to GMHC and MHN.”
