About Mercy Health Network
Mercy Health Network (MHN) was founded in 1998 under a joint operating agreement between two of the largest Catholic, not-for-profit health organizations in the United States: Catholic Health Initiatives, based in Denver, Colorado, and Trinity Health, based in Novi, Michigan. The network includes:

• Five major medical centers:
  Mercy Medical Center—Clinton
  Mercy Medical Center—Des Moines
  Mercy Medical Center—Dubuque
  Mercy Medical Center—North Iowa (Mason City)
  Mercy Medical Center—Sioux City
  
  
• Four rural community hospitals and 24 affiliated hospitals
• 98 physician clinic sites
• 12,200 employees
• More than $1 billion annual operating revenues
  

The network also includes other facilities such as nursing homes and inpatient hospices.

While Mercy Health Network provides integrated financial and management services to operate network facilities, it does not own the hospitals or other member facilities.
