Medical Center—North Iowa has a tradition in the Mason City
vicinity dating back to its founding in 1908. Nearly a century later,
Mercy serves as the center of a premier rural healthcare delivery
system for northern Iowa and southern Minnesota.
With a staff of more than 2,800, including approximately 400 providers,
Mercy Medical Center—North Iowa offers healthcare services
from two primary locations, the East Campus at 1000 4th Street SW,
and West Campus at 910 North Eisenhower Avenue.
The Mercy—North Iowa network consists of the Mason City medical
center, plus nine rural primary care hospitals, and owns a number
of primary care and specialty clinics. In addition, a home health
agency, a hospice, a regional referral laboratory, pharmacies, an
emergency services network and regional rehabilitation and diagnostic
technology services round out the Mercy—North Iowa network
of service offerings.
